| After we signed the lease on the house, we
went straight to the school and gave them the all important 'proof
of living in the catchment area' - i.e. the rental agreement.
They had space for Pip, but not for Oliver... but luckily some
kids were off on holiday and one was leaving, and this meant Oli did
have a space after all. Here are the kids in the new uniforms!
They take sun seriously here - no hat = no playtime when it is summer. After looking round the school and meeting the teachers it was time to leave them...
They got all of three days at school before they broke up for the hols. But at least they now know what they are going back to in a fortnights time. What the kids say... Pippa: "I like school because it is very friendly. I wish my friends could be there but it is still good. I've got a brand new friend called Janna and she is really nice. Now we are on holiday but we had a lot of fun at school in the last couple of days." Oli: "I like school." |
