The First Mud Bath for the new car
Today we went to Mundaring, which is a well known 4WD track running the length
of the powerlines.
Here we are right at the beginning of the track, looking cautiously down at the
track.
It seems oh so much flatter when you look at it in a photograph.
I really do like that fold down hatch at the back. A real station wagon!
Getting tricky for this first time
beginner. Look at the angle of the wheels.
Its called 'articulation' I'm reliably informed. Apparently this is a good
thing.
How did I get talked into this?
Rather scary, swimming through this mud pool, small as it was.
Utterly amazingly, we then drove up a steep slope the other side without
slipping. Impressive.
Oli drives across the sand track. Unlike his sister, he keeps an eye on the road.
Pip driving along the Mundaring track, yes, we are moving!
