Dwellingup 4wd trail

On Sunday 26th we went off to Dwellingup, about 100km south of where we live.
It was graded as a simple track for most vehicles.  Most of the time, that was a fair assessment.
But it wasn't true for all of the track!

We start with the tree top canopy walk at the forest heritage centre.

In the bush there were some very pretty little orchids.

More orchids - growing next to the charred remains of a tree.

This one is called metal enamel - you can see why.

Nice little camping ground, near to the Murray River.  Jarrah trees all around us.

Easy peasy. Plenty of space, wide flat and fairly smooth track.

Uh oh. Tree in the way.  Luckily just about enough space to detour around it.

This was tricky. Kept slipping back into the middle, and the ground clearance whilst good just
wouldn't clear in that dip.  In the end after several tries we got up the left hand side of the track...

Muddy wheels or what....  There was much more of the same on this track, which we think may not have been the track!
