Back to Banksia Camp, this time with the adriano family,
and where we discover a new Secret Spot

After a couple of days of rain getting into (mostly Pippa's) tent, we moved into the freshly vacated hut.  Bliss.

Getting out at Cliffy Head.  Had to admit defeat, the road tyres getting most of the blame.

We gave up, backed out and took the chicken track.

A random detour down an unmarked track led to an unmarked camping spot!
Behind the beach there were shady trees and a flat camping site in between them.

And here it is, on the inlet but sandy just like a beach.

Guess who loved driving the boat.  He also learned to say 'wheel' (and 'beer' much to everyone's amusement)

Now time for a perfect roast cooked by Ivan and Siona on the beach!

On the way home we stopped at Ivan's parents who made us supremely welcome.
