Dad's 3rd visit to Perth
On holiday in Shark Bay

Dad brought out a hand made 'scrap book collage plus photos' book for Daniel which was a great hit.

On Shell Beach - no sand, just shells!

Burying Pip in shells - one big beach of shells here...

Daniel loved putting shells in Pip's mouth.  Pip not so keen.

Trees have a hard time in this super salty environment.

Where the shells are 'quarried' ...

... to build walls like this in Denham.

Dad and Daniel walk up the hill towards the Eagle Bluff lookout near Denham

Clear waters, and stark cliff faces.  You can see marine life in the shallows.

Flying kites on the green at Denham

Oliver flying the Shark Kite - everyone else taking cover.  It is pretty big!

Big Lagoon - sunset

Sunset at big lagoon, just outside Denham

Up a long long sandy track to the tip of the Peron Peninsula - This is Skipjack Point

On the Wanamalu trail with Dad and Oli - 1.5 kn around headland at Cape Peron

Incredible red sands in the cliffs

A birrida (salt pan) ecountered on route.  Noticeable effect on the flora.

Heading home in the long shadows, sandy bush track as far as the eye can see, even from the top of the car.

On the beach near Denham as the sun sets

Daniel messing around with his shades. Sometimes he liked them, sometimes not.

Incredible colours in the water - may have been Bottle Bay but I cant remember.

Oliver looking unusually thoughtful.

Sunset at the Big Lagoon, Oliver buids a dam with a little tributary.

Back home and Dad builds Oli a plane.

Looks like it flys pretty well to me.  Sadly, its also time for Dad to head back to the UK too.

This photo set was put together from pictures taken by all of us at various times.
